A QR code that puts people in the group chat
For the club, the class, the trip, the team: one code on the flyer and nobody has to type a number or hunt for the right link.
How to make one
- Open the group in SparkChat and tap its name at the top of the chat.
- Choose the invite link. You get a QR code to save or print and a link that opens the same way from a text or a post.
- Put it where people are. A slide at the first meeting, a table tent at the event, the pinned message in the old chat you are moving away from.
Where a group code earns its keep
A new class, a pickup league, a trip with people who have never met, a church small group, a club's first event of the year. Anywhere the group is forming in a room, a QR code gets everyone into the chat before they leave that room, and nobody has to collect numbers or add people one at a time.
Once the group exists, the chat can find a time, split the bill, and send an invite with a map without leaving the thread.
If the code gets around
Reset it from the same screen. The old code and link stop working immediately, everyone already in the group stays, and a new code is ready to share. Groups that want a gate can turn on approval so a scan asks to join instead of joining.

The phone camera opens a web page that explains the group and offers the app. Once installed, the same link drops them into the group.
Is there a size limit for the group?
Groups can hold hundreds of people. Very large communities are better served by channels inside a group, which SparkChat also supports.
