Slide, don’t overshoot

Power 80 reaches the edge exactly. Everything after that is nerve.

How Shuffleboard plays

  1. Alternate slides: lateral aim plus power.
  2. The puck’s rest position decides the score; the 3 band is closest to the far edge.
  3. Sliding off the end or the side scores zero, and a puck resting on another bumps it.

How it ends. Higher total after the last puck wins; equal is a draw.

Honest adaptation. No continuous physics: collisions are modeled at rest positions, which keeps every phone in agreement.

Questions about Shuffleboard

What happens when pucks touch?

A new puck resting within a puck diameter of an earlier one nudges it. That is the whole collision model, on purpose.

Do we need to be online at the same time?

No. Every SparkChat game is turn-based and asynchronous. The board sits in the group chat; you make your move when you open the chat, and everyone else sees it land there.

Where does the game live?

Inside the group chat as a live card. Tap it to open the board, play, and close it. The card updates for everyone the moment a move lands, and the finished game stays in the chat as a keepsake.
